About
It all began as a keen sailor, spending 10 years bobbing around the 7 seas. Hand crafts of all types were a great way to relax and pass time on long voyages - no internet - no distractions, just me and the sea.
Stitching little things inspired by my travels, oceans, dreams and nightmares; nature, nostalgia, folklore and folk art, the cosmos; peace and chaos, getting lost, being found, and home. Now a land lubber back in the glorious English countryside.
There is a little bit of everything here with Heidi!
Inspiration is limitless!
Hand stitching is such a personal, therapeutic pastime and one that I never seem to get tired of. I sell kits in the hope to encourage beginners in particular to give it a go
